Then again, it could be an old lady who’s simply taking a nap. But that wouldn’t really be very scary. What’s the fun in that? I am setting the scene for Halloween here. Are you getting in the mood yet? Well, if you’re not, then you’d better get a move on it, because October is almost here. This means Halloween decorations galore. Oh, and don’t forget the costumes. There are even costumes infants can wear now days. So don’t leave your little one out on this extra special day. It won’t be back for another year.

I guess you could say I saw a variety of get-ups last Halloween. I was out and about for a few hours. I took my little girl trick-or-treating. We had a blast scoping out all the fun and unique costumes. I think we must have seen about every variation there is. However, I don’t recall seeing a cop costume. Or did I? Maybe the costume was so darn great that I couldn’t even tell if there was a real cop present or not. Maybe the guy/girl even went out and rented a patrol car. Okay, now I’m getting a tad ridiculous. On the other hand, it could happen. Remember the guy in the cop costume on “Hocus Pocus?” He certainly fooled everyone.

The two-year-old was another story. Although my sister-in-law was able to find a toddler Elvis costume that fit my two-year-old nephew perfectly, he did not want to cooperate. He did not have enough hair, so they tried using a wig. A few of the pictures were wonderful, except the littlest boy was pulling his wig off of his head. I don’t know how many times it took to get the picture right.

You can find some vague ideas and make them into your own unique creation that is sure you have your friends laughing all night long. Funny does not have to equal expensive or complex either.
