African American Wanting one of the many new African American hair styles every few weeks is not fickle; it is merely evidence of being multidimensional. Summer is here and with it come all sorts of fun outdoor things to do. It is also that time of year when we encounter the highest percentage of damaged hair, some of it beyond repair.

There are more African American Hair Styles than you can possibly imagine and creativity in hair abounds in the African American community. This is because of the versatility of the hair which most African Americans have. African American hair styles can run such a wide range because African American hair is naturally “nappy,” that is, it is in very tight, crinkly curls.

This allows it to keep its shape for many more vertical styles. In addition to that, African American hair styles can take on the appearance of the hair styles of any other race, because Blacks can straighten their hair, or put in hair weaves.

Skin Care There are many lotions on the market that are made especially for dry skin care. These range in price from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars.

Dry Skin Care Your budget will decide what you can afford to buy, but rest assured that you do not have to spend a fortune to keep your skin soft and supple.

Higher priced lotions will work very well, but you may be surprised that a bottle of lotion that costs a mere two dollars can leave your skin healthy and glowing, and it may become your favorite tool for dry skin care.

There are other things you can do for dry skin care that won’t cost you a penny. If you live in an area that has cold, dry winters, you need to learn how to baby your skin during those months.

A hot shower may feel wonderful on your skin, but it is drying it out at the same time. Opt for warm showers, and use your lotion directly after that shower while your skin is still wet.

Pain can have a terrible effect

Posted by Sarah Khan on Saturday, 4 December, 2010

Pain Control The thing is, when your child’s immune system is trying to do a little work building up its immune system, fever and pain medications like Tylenol gum up the works. They don’t allow the body to get a fever and do its thing. When the body isn’t allowed to get a fever, it doesn’t build up the immune system as well. That’s what the world-famous medical Journal Lancet says.
Pain Medication For instance, if the fever gets to be too high, then antipyretic pain medication would be essential. You just need to understand that you need work with the doctor for this.
They actually did some research on this. They studied hundreds of babies who had been given standard issue vaccines for diphtheria, tetanus, rotavirus and others. To some, they gave fever and pain medication, and to the others they gave none. The babies who had medication to bring down their fever had fewer antibodies in the end.

Cheap Books for Children Ages 4-8

Posted by Sarah Khan on Friday, 3 December, 2010

Book Stores We who live in first world countries are fortunate to have access to books for kids from childrens book clubs etc but kids from the poorer nations of the world are not so fortunate and we should all play a part in trying to alleviate this situation.

I love kids books, and have since I was a little kid myself. From the Little Engine that Could, up through Five Children and It, and beyond, I adore almost all of the literature that I read growing up. There is a freshness to new readers.

Book Club Lists At present their are many creative activities that can be done along with reading a particular book. Your group may want to check the book club lists to find books that take place in the region that you live in. The discussion of that book may include a visit to sights that are described in the book. If a particular restaurant or park is discussed in the book a trip to the location could be part of the clubs plans. The book club lists are a great source of information to add creativity and to have fun with your club.

Small Business Lending Fund

Posted by Sarah Khan on Friday, 3 December, 2010

Small Business Lending Community development financial institutions work kind of like venture capitalists do. They bet on high-risk unproven ideas from people that traditional banks would be too scared to take on. It’s all about the community that they care about; it could be a new business idea or an approved and established one; if it intends to bring new jobs and services to the community, they want to be a part of it. They don’t just deal with little start-ups alone, either. Any business that has from 25 to 50 employees that needs a loan to expand in the area, the community lending banks will put up, up to $10 million in the hopes that they will bring new jobs to the area. Communities are no longer relying on the big manufacturers to come in and bring in jobs. More and more, they see the small players with their 20 or 50 jobs as the horses to bet on. MLM Business Opportunities
At a time when obtaining credit remains expensive and unreliable around the country, small business lending is really soaring at the community institutions. And this isn’t a phenomenon that’s happening independently of the banks. It’s happening with their blessing.
