Disney Princess Costumes for Women
Only about a week or so left until the day when all bets are off. Who’s ready for the ghosts, goblins and spooks to emerge from the darkness? I know I am. This is the best day of the year if you ask me. Frolicking through the neighborhood in search of treats! What in the world is better than that? Okay, so I don’t exactly carry around a sack, but I take my daughter to dozens of doorsteps. Believe it or not, it’s actually more fun than when I trick-or-treated as a child. You want to know what else? One of the greatest aspects of this holiday is the attire.
She had been learning to love to dance by watching the Wiggles. They had a song in their concerts that featured ballet, and she loved this. She watched a DVD at a friend’s house that featured Barbie and the Twelve Dancing Princesses and was enchanted with what she saw. She asked for the dance mat for Christmas, and I thought it was more about the dancing than Barbie, but I’m not really sure any more. One day in the store we saw a Barbie costume that must be from the Dancing Princesses, and because it was on sale, I got it for her.
Disney princess costumes also offers a selection of Mother and daughter outfits, which are also good choices for teen girls taking younger children trick or treating. No matter how small your child may be, there’s a Disney Halloween costume to fill the bill. They offer Dumbo and Tigger baby bunting costumes, among others. These costumes are not only adorable, but they also keep baby nice and cozy.
He of course comes dressed as Sigmund Freud and is disgusted at Roz’s choice of Wonder Woman. I’ve thought about throwing a similar bash myself. It would certainly make for some bizarre fancy dress costumes. My hero however is Mahatma Gandhi, and I don’t really want to carry trays of nibbles round, wearing my loin cloth and wire rimmed glasses. My husband’s hero is Gandalf, the Wizard from Lord of the Rings. At least we’d have fireworks!
Most of the disney princess costumes are available in deluxe and ‘prestige’ versions, which include a little more detailing. Many are available in children’s, teen and adult sizes, so everyone can get in on the fun. One of the best features of the Disney Halloween costumes is that the character is clearly recognizable. There’s no mistaking who your child’s character is, so there’s no chance the person opening their door with a basket of goodies asking, “You’re so cute, but who are you?” In a Disney costume, that little old lady may be tempted to be a bit more generous, too. “Oh, here, take a few more! You’re just sweet!”
