Often when searching the web for an online theft class, it’s hard to find a class which is 24 hours in length. The reason is that 24 hours of material is a lot of information. So some people when they create a 24 hour shoplifting and impulse control class tend to fill the class with a lot of fluff. By fluff I mean materials which aren’t relevant to the class.

So what they will do is show a lot of videos so that the instructor doesn’t actually have to spend a lot of time talking in-depth about a bunch of different subjects. Or they will just make a lot of the class a “discussion” where there is no theft, shoplifting, impulse control or larceny information being given to students. It’s just the students talking about their experiences. Which might seem interesting to a certain extent, but you could have the same type of discussion in a chat room on the Internet.

So it’s important when you are a looking for a longer theft or impulse control class that the class have a good reputation and contains enough course materials to actually fill the 24 hours. There IS enough information out there in the world to fill 24 hours, just some instructors are too lazy to actually do it.
