Most people that embark on rigorous fitness regimens eventually hit a plateau where they can’t seem to improve on any aspect of performance. This is especially true of runners. You’d be surprised at how many folks completely discount the advantages of running watches and don’t care about any of the valuable data these devices provide. At the most basic level, a good fitness watch should have a chronograph function so you can track lap times while you’re going through your routine. A memory function would also be extremely helpful here because it would allow you to review and/or record your times after you return home. It’s important to be able to measure one performance against another to make sure you’re always improving, so these two features are essential.
