Making Money Fast is a Fallacy

Have you ever noticed how everyone wants to have their own business yet no one dares to start it? I’ve lost count how many of my own friends talk endlessly on ways to turn their hobbies into lucrative operations, but none of them ever do.

The idea is to have fun, make lots of money quickly, and answer to no one. Blah! The idea that we can make money fast is a fallacy unless someone has literally been lucky enough to stumble on an idea that produced an overnight success. That million dollar homepage was one such one-hit wonder if anyone can remember that?

Most home based businesses are run by women, but they’re far from lucrative, but do bring in a bit of pin money which always helps. The real winners in making a quick buck didn’t start off by doing so, oh no, they had to invest money, lose money, invest some more, rinse and repeat until they got it right.

It is this gambling of one’s own time and cash that makes most wannabe entrepreneurs nothing more than barstool Bobs.
