Learning can also be fun for young children if you make it a game of some sort. A child can find the regimented learning of the alphabet and picking reading and writing skills a real bind if they know the will have to sit still for hours.

So for example learning the ABC’s can be made into an outdoor game. Outdoor kids games ideas like ABC Hopscotch is one example. Instead of using numbers as normal, use letters instead. Calling out the letters can get the children to recognise individual letter of the alphabet. It’s fun for them and they are learning at the same time. Try using different letters so they get a wider grasp and better understanding of letters. Have fun!
