Pleurisy is brought on by an irritation and inflammation with the membrane that surrounds the lungs. It’s usually a symptom of another illness. Also, it’s known as Pleuritic chest discomfort. Pleurisy can create from issues like bacterial or viral infections of the lungs like pneumonia, TB, lupus, chest injury or trauma, along with a blood clot in the lung, or cancer. A cause occasionally can’t be identified. The physician calls this idiopathic pleurisy.
